Presently working as Chief Intellectual Property Officer of the Industrial Property Division in the Department of Media, Creative Industry and Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment in Thimphu, Bhutan. Studied Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane (2016), Master of International Development from International University of Japan (2011) and Bachelor of Science from Sherubtse College (2001). Joined the civil service in January 2002 and posted as Patent Examiner in the Intellectual Property Division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in July 2002.
